I am Head of Development at Central Index where "We are building the Central Index of rich, verified business data. Explore our website…". I have a background in Research and Development in the steel industry but have worked in web-based business directories for the last 14 years.
Projects
As well as my 'day job' at Central Index, I have worked on
* BirdReader - a self-hosted RSS reader
* Proxee - a programmable HTTP proxy
Both of the above are Node.js applications using Cloudant (CouchDB) as a data store and search engine.
Interests
I am a former BinBall champion (with a perfect '62' under my belt) and also enjoy reading and playing the guitar.
