Section Tree Felling

Section felling will be used in situations where there is a risk of damage occurring to any property or harm to the public. The work consists of the climber taking the tree down in small sections from the top of the tree to the ground. Often this operation will require the use of lowering ropes and blocks for the safe removal of overhanging limbs.
Straight Tree Felling

Straight felling is the cutting of trees as a whole rather than in small sections. Straight felling is often done in large gardens where there is plenty of space and no risk to people or property.

The direction of the falling trees will be controlled by pulling ropes and wedges.
