In around a decade, Bryngold Books has established an enviable reputation for producing high quality books, many of which focus on times past. The company was launched in 2004 by husband and wife team David and Cheryl Roberts following former journalist David's long term success recording the past in pictures of some of the most important communities of South Wales. As well as being responsible for the appearance of a fascinating range of titles Bryngold Books also enjoys guiding aspiring authors with their work.

Among the many books published have been titles on transport, history, and postcards together with specially commissioned school and industrial publications. The company prides itself on producing quality books and its ability to bring a well-informed, human touch to publishing. Definitely no time for finishing crosswords for our chief David Roberts these days. When he's not out on a delivery run we've got him doing the grand media tour and here he is at Swansea Sound with the doyen of the station's presenters Leighton Jones promoting our latest book Swansea Revisited. As usual it's packed with magnificent memory jerkers and these two simply couldn't stop talking about the way the city once was. Thanks to news caster Claire Pearson for snapping the moment. Who knows the picture might end up in a book of its own one day.
