We where on a c2c bicycle ride and stayed at the punch bowl the room was lovely and warm when we arrived we had a meal in the restaurant the portion was huge and tasted great the breakfast was lovely to start our day thank u selena for all your help paul Kelly Mick Karen.

Food was amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly. It was my mams birthday and she was given complimentary wine and cake which made the meal even more special... we will definitely be returning.. compliments to the chef!
Great pub, awesome food and lovely service!
Been here a couple of times now and been really happy with my experience here. The beer selection is on point and the lovely garden in the back compliments it during the summer time when the sun is bearing down! Food was brilliant, I had steak and it was exactly how I wanted it cooked. Will keep returning here!
Friendly village pub with good food!
Lovely friendly locals pub which welcomes tourists. We had a beautiful cooked evening meal ... I had Steak and hubby had the freshly cooked homemade Pie plus we managed puddings too. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and even suggested a lovely Christmassy drink of Blackberry Gin to go with my pudding which was delicious. All excellent.
Nice pint of bitter and meal
Enjoyed the real ale and fresh food, the burger appeared home made and the bacon was thin and crispy, the way it should be on a burger. Will remember and be back next time I'm up this way.
