Witney is a market town in an idyllic location on the River Windrush, right at the doorstep to the stunning Cotswolds. It is famously the home of Witney blankets, though nowadays the town is also known as a desirable place for commuters to live just west of Oxford.
A large part of the town's popularity is down to its combination of modern luxuries and amenities alongside the atmosphere and essence of a traditional community.
Local attractions include the redeveloped town centre with the new Marriotts Walk Shopping Centre - offering excellent shopping, dining opportunities, a cinema, and a selection of new homes for sale - and Cogges Manor Farm, a popular museum depicting rural Victorian working life. The world famous Blenheim Palace and the old ruins of Minster Lovell Hall are also close by.
With Oxford just a short drive east along the A40 and Cheltenham only 30 miles away, Witney enjoys great connections to local towns and cities, as well as outstanding rail links.
