Profile
Woking is the largest town in Surrey and boasts an abundance of history: it was Henry VIII's hunting ground; has the first waterway in the country running through it; is home to Britain's first purpose-built mosque; and was the site of an alien landing in HG Wells War of the Worlds.
Woking property searches continue to be popular among families and young professionals alike. There is a wide range of property types to suit every taste, from large Victorian family homes to brand new apartments that are ideal for commuters making use of the excellent transportation links to London, Heathrow and Gatwick.
The town centre has been through extensive regeneration in recent years, and continues to grow thanks to the 25-minute mainline train journey straight into London Waterloo and the easy accessibility to the M25 and M3 corridors.
To mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen's reign, Woking commissioned the development of Jubilee Square.
