Profile
My interest in Traditional Acupuncture was ignited when I had treatment to support my own health. I found the whole treatment process fascinating. It was this experience that lead to a career change to become an acupuncturist. In 2003, I completed a BA (hons) degree in Traditional Acupuncture at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, affiliated by Oxford Brookes University.
Continued professional development (CPD) is a requirement of the British Acupuncture Council and I regularly attend courses to update my skills. I have attended extensive post graduate studies over the years and and I have a particular interest in Japanese Acupuncture, which I find to be very effective. The Japanese style of acupuncture practice uses very thin needles and gentle insertion techniques. Most people find the needling to be a lot more comfortable than they imagined and feel quite relaxed both during and after treatment.
I feel privileged to be able to pass on the great benefits that I believe acupuncture offers.
