Burial Service

Burial is a very traditional and permanent way of remembering a loved one. Whether in a churchyard or cemetery, you are able to know that the physical remains rest beneath the ground and that your chosen memorial stone marks the exact spot for you to pay your respects.

Cremation service

Many family's choose to have a service at the crematorium. A service at the crematorium Chapel can be a service to suit individual requirements and will last between 20 minutes to one hour, depending on the service contents.

The Crescent Way Funeral Service

A complete and personal Funeral Service including our professional attention to you and your family. Use of our dedicated chapel of rest during office hours, Monday to Friday 9am-4pm. Provision of our Holway coffin - a traditional Elm effect coffin with fittings suitable for cremation. Provision of the hearse and staff for conveyance to the crematorium. External payments, including Crematorium, medical certificates and officiant of your choosing.

Woodland Service

With the ever growing awareness of environmental matters, families are now looking for a more natural, nature friendly option when considering a burial.

Whether the body is taken for burial in a woodland or cremated remains are being buried in a meadow, there are many options available to allow for a greener, more sustainable service.

The Crescent Direct Service

For some, gathering at a crematorium or church and holding a service to remember their loved one is not always a desired option or it was the person who has died that expressed a wish that they did not want a formal funeral service.
At Crescent Funeral Services we understand this and therefore, offer the low-key option of a direct cremation.
The Crescent Direct service will provide a family with our professional services at the time of death or conveyance from the mortuary and will simply arrange for a coffin to transfer their loved one directly to the crematorium, without ceremony or fuss, but respectfully and in keeping with the required regulations.
