My name is Jessica, I'm based in Reigate, Surrey and I'm a mum of two, to a little girl Sophia (2015) and a little boy Hugo (2017). My daughter had Colic, so the first 3 months of her life where a total blur or sleep deprivation. Then just before my son arrived she started some horrific early waking which continued for several months after he was born, so being awake most the night with a new born and up from 5am, was fairly challenging and as such I am very experienced in the realities of sleep deprivation and the impact it can have on the entire family.
I myself enlisted the help of a sleep consultant and it made such a massive difference to our lives that it sparked a huge interest for me on the subject of children's sleep and lead me to retrain as a children's sleep consultant. I am now a qualified OCN (Level 4) Sleep consultant and I'm also DBS checked and fully insured.
The approach I take is a gentle one, some sleep training approaches can involve leaving the child to cry alone for long periods of time. I believe this goes against our nature to love and nurture our children. I believe children need to feel secure and happy in order to sleep well. My own experience means I can empathise and relate to parents and I also understand each child is completely individual and has their own needs when it comes to sleep.
Enabling families to enjoy improved sleep is my passion and I will do my best to ensure your child starts sleeping better.
