PC-Fixed is a Staffordshire wide service aimed at helping both home and small business computer users recover from typical PC troubles. The service is run by Martin White who has over 30 years experience troubleshooting and fixing computer problems. PC-Fixed operates a no-fix, no-fee policy, and will come to you to sort out PC problems. All jobs start with a phone call to establish the nature of the problem and if it's fixable. Appointments are made to suit the customer and all charges are fully quoted before any work commences. Martin is very thorough and often provides explanations and tuition to prevent recurrence of problems as much a physical repairs.

In a recent example of a fairly typical call-out, Martin was asked to help when a laptop had become unusable. The solution was to upgrade the hard disk to an SSD and to add some more memory. The customer now calls her laptop "Lazarus" as she believes it has been brought back from the dead!

Sometimes the solution to slow and troublesome PCs is as simple as upgrading the memory or hard disk. We can supply parts for most common makes including Dell, Compaq, HP, Lenovo, Acer etc.
We also provide replacement laptop batteries. These always degrade over time and, with new battery technology, replacements often perform better than the original!

Our PC migration - setup and transfer - service provides help with new PCs Laptops or Printers. We will transfer all your important files from your old machine, or backup, and ensure that the new one is correctly configured, connected to your router and protected by anti-virus and automatic backup software.
