I have in excess of ten year's experience working within the field of addiction and specifically supporting clients with the underlying causes of their dependence e.g trauma, abuse. In addition to running a private practice for the last four years, I have also worked as a Counsellor within the prison service and a Cruse Bereavement Counsellor, providing support to individuals who have been affected by bereavement.

I am passionate about making a difference to the lives of others - as I believe life is to short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. Together we can learn and develop better ways to handle the issues that are standing in the way of your goals and ultimately your happiness.

I offer short and long term counselling for Individuals and Couples at my home in Oakley, Buckinghamshire or at the clients home (if requested). I also offer telephone and online counselling to those who would prefer these mediums.

I work in an integrative way, using a core approach of Person-Centred Counselling, along with tools and techniques from other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Mindfulness. I am also a qualified Auricular Acupuncturist and can provide this alongside counselling if it is felt beneficial. Information on these techniques are listed below.

Sessions are tailored to the individual client as I do not believe there is a one size fits all approach to counselling.
