At Heathrow Air Ambulance Service, we equip our private ambulance vehicles with the right medical equipment and medical technicians to provide emergency medical services. We are highly capable of first aid and provide care quality assistance to sustain the patient's life until they get to the hospital or air ambulances. Other forms of patient transport do not have such intensive care facilities and as such cannot sustain the life of the person if a medical emergency arises en route to the medical facility. This means that a person using these other modes of transportation for a medical patient is risking the life of that patient should anything occur.

As a private ambulance service company, we modify our wide range of vehicles in order to ensure that they provide the best service to the people they carry. As advised by chief inspectors, these modifications can be such as those done to the suspension systems to ensure that the ride is smooth and comfortable for the patient regardless of the speed they are moving at. The interior is designed in a manner that will minimise injuries should an accident occur to the ambulance. We have also equipped our land ambulances with communication devices in the form of hi-tech long range two way radios. This ensures that our professionally trained personnel can ask for assistance easily in the event that they need it.
