I'm not sure quite why the previous review was so nasty. I have employed CSW for 2 years and have always been very happy with their work. It's of a very high standard and their rates are very competitive. That they don't expect payments for anything up to a week after works have finished to ensure customer satisfaction is outstanding and fosters a very good working relationship. They go above and beyond to ensure that I'm happy with my garden before they leave. In fact, I found them to be so conscientious and trustworthy that CSW now take care of my elderly mothers gardens as well. They are pleasant and I honestly cannot say enough positive things about them and after two years of them working here, I feel I have a consistent in depth level of knowledge in judging their work. Also, I was very pleased that Mr Watts received Gardening maintenance of the year award this year, and very well deserved. Thank you all for your continued services
Would NOT recommend - avoid at all costs
Very disappointed, level of professionalism severely lacking and services not completed to a high standard. Quoted a body of work to include replacing a lawn with gravel and cleaning and re-sanding a driveway. Massive bulky weeds were pushing through the gravel within a couple of days, so the membrane that I paid for either wasn't used or installed incorrectly. The drive did have the bulky weeds removed, but they sprinkled a bit of weed killer for the rest, citing they would return to complete the course. They never did. The rear garden was part of the quoted works, and this too was not done to a decent standard. Many many calls made and many messages sent to contact them to readdress and complete the works as quoted, and when I finally got through they said they would need paying £X amount to put it right. I had to collar him whilst he was completing works on my neighbours property, after spending time being paid for my works to go over and quote them for.
