Nia is a body-centred, heart-centred, JOYful, conscious, somatic barefoot dance-fitness class that draws from a combination of martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. It has 52 moves based on the body’s natural design, and it radically deepens loving relationship with the body, significantly increasing self-acceptance! Exhilarating and sustainable for life (as it is adaptable to YOUR body’s way exactly as it is), Nia classes offer a perfect balance of form (simple choreography) and freedom, harmoniously nourish body, mind, emotions and spirit and give a great cardiovascular workout! Classes last an hour, and are accompanied by a beautiful soul-stirring musical landscape.

I have had an established teaching practice with a fabulous warm community of unique and wonderful people, in Stroud, Nailsworth and Cheltenham for the past 8 years, and am currently trained to the highest level (Nia Second Degree Black Belt).
