Hi, Joe Smereka here. Here's a little more information about what I do and how I might be of help to you.
I have worked in domestic construction for over 25 years. Early in my career I worked as a Project Manager, running residential refurbishment projects with values in excess of £1M. Between 1998 and 2014, I owned and ran a medium sized building company specializing in domestic extensions and loft conversions etc.
I started Josef Architecture in 2006 to run alongside my building company and offer architectural design support to our clients. Since then however, things have changed and I now provide a whole host of building consultancy services to homeowners that may be looking to improve, extend, or even build their own abodes.

would highly recommend Josef Architecture. This was our first extension and we were a bit unsure on how it all worked but Joe talked us through everything that we needed as far as the plans go. Drafts were made and we were left with plenty of time to think things over so that changes could be made. Also once the plans were submitted by Joe the turn around was pretty quick for approval. I would use this company again for any future plans needed.

I have been very happy with the quality of Joes work and the design advice that he was able to give on the project. While Joe wasn't the cheapest quote the service he provided in delivering detailed drawings including liaising with the local building control to co-ordinate on my behalf got rid of a lot of the hassle. The end result is a complete set of drawings that allows builders to provide detailed and accurate quotations.
