Award Winning Family Owned Italian Restaurant on Albany Road in Cardiff
Gianluca and his cousin Massimo have opened their first restaurant in Cardiff as a result of the ongoing successes of their award winning venue in Newport. The restaurant provides visitors with an authentic taste of Italy by serving traditional Italian dishes created from family recipes the cousins have brought with them from Italy. We offer a extensive range of pasta and pizza dishes as well as other Italian specialties that are all prepared for you in our kitchen using fresh produce and imported ingredients from Italy.
Their Rogerstone, Newport restaurant has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence for the past four years as well as being named as the Best Family Owned Italian Restaurant in Wales in 2019. The Cardiff restaurant aims to achieve the same standards and guarantee visitors a very warm, Italian welcome everytime they visit.
We offer a lunchtime and early evening as well as an a la carte option for the evening. In addition to the food we serve, we have an extensive drinks menu including our own bespoke Gin menu featuring flavours from Italy and Wales.

We were not disappointed at all,
Warm welcome from all the staff and a lush table in the corner.
I could have ordered the whole menu and eaten it all!
However we started with calamari and salmon with a good chilled bottle of white,
Following on to a chicken and mushroom risotto and the fennel sausage pasta, and another bottle of wine.
What amazing food, I cannot tell you the amount of flavour packed into a simple home cooked recipe. Please can you make me a portion twice as big next time.
Guys please keep up the amazing work you are doing, your food is what proper Italian food should be.
