Pyschotherapy and Counselling Service based in Chorlton and Sale in South Manchester. My name is Liz Jeffries and I have experience in working with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, work problems, stress, relationship difficulties, self-harm and self-injury, phobias, childhood sexual abuse and the psychological aspects of chronic pain. I also work with psychotherapy and counselling trainees who require personal therapy as part of their course.

I can offer flexibility with appointments, with weekday (daytime and evening) and Saturday morning appointments available. Please contact me for availability.

Therapy offers the potential to transform your life. It can help with symptom relief (e.g. from anxiety or depression symptoms), it can help explore practical problems (e.g. at work) or by incorporating a relational depth theory can facilitate change at the level of personality structure. I have experience in working with people in all these ways, either in short-term therapy or in open-ended therapy without a fixed time frame but with attention paid to the process.

Before training as a psychotherapist I experienced psychotherapy for myself. I am now passionate about therapy, and the opportunities it presents for exploring personal issues and difficulties in life.
