The School of Professional Development and Education (PDE) offers training opportunities in educational and social development for the improvement of local communities.

We provide direct access to Education and Training for those who want to work within the field of education or training. Our Initial Teacher Training course provides opportunities for those who want a course that work around their current commitments; supporting them in a friendly and dynamic manner.

Social cohesion, enhancing livelihoods and implementing long-term benefits for growth are all derivatives of education and continued development, and as such, underpin the foundations on which our School is formed.

The School of Professional Development and Education (PDE) is a private adult education institute which is registered and part of the UK Learner Providers and all of our Initial Teacher Training Qualifications are registered by City & Guilds.

We provide the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (Formerly known as DTLLS and equivalent to the PGCE) - This qualification leads to QTLS status, which since 2012 is recognised as being the same as the QTS; meaning with the DET you can teach in Primary, secondary, college and universities as a teacher.

Our Level 3 Award in Education and Training is suited to those who want to: be trainers; teaching assistants (TA); work in schools, nurseries, educational facilities; and eventually start the Diploma in Education and Training.
