Art and Design Workshops and Classes
At the Art and Design Studio, we run a range of relaxed and informal art and craft classes to suit adults of all levels of ability. These range from a 2 hour Painting Party in your own home, or 1 day art or craft workshops, up to a 12 week course, all at our studio in Great Waltham, CM3 1DF.
We also offer printing and sketching holidays in the beautiful Dordogne area of France.
Our professionally trained tutors are here to help you discover your own creativity!

Something to look forward to each week
My Learning Art Course started last September 2020. I was greeted on my first morning by a very friendly Cathy and Shelly who immediately put me at my ease. I have never drawn anything before and over the next few weeks I began to feel that actually I could create a reasonable painting having started from the beginning with shading, various media and drawing lots of fruit and veg. Each week I looked forward to my next lesson as it became not only an art lesson but nice to chat to other like minded people who have now become friends. Unfortunately our lessons came to an abrupt halt with lockdown but Cathy kept us all in touch with zoom meetings each week which really helped not only to keep us painting with the homework she gave us but it helped enormously with being in lockdown itself.
My 12 week course which started 8 months ago is finally coming to an end but i'm looking forward to the beginning of the next course, Developing Art .
