Established by Karen Nolan in 2017, KN Psychotherapy and Wellbeing is a successful private practice based in Greater Manchester.

Karen Nolan is a BACP registered psychodynamic psychotherapist. Specialising in childhood trauma, ADHD and anxiety, Karen has also worked extensively with bereavement, loss and supporting people through workplace stress, career transition and relationship endings.

KN Psychotherapy and Wellbeing offers individual and group psychotherapy, dream-sharing groups and personal development. The type of therapy offered in transactional analysis. Karen Nolan’s way of working is informed by attachment theory and group analytic principles.

People start therapy, with Karen Nolan, for many different reasons, sometimes to come to terms with something painful in their past, often with a view to make changes or improving relationships in the present. Therapy with Karen can also help to manage and overcome feelings of depression, anxiety, burnout, self-esteem and self-confidence.

The first consultation is free is takes around 50 minutes. After that, if you decide to begin therapy, fees start at £60 per 50 minute session.

Business owner, Karen Nolan is an individual and group psychotherapist. Karen studied at the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy graduating with a Level 7 Diploma in Advanced Transactional Analysis.

Karen Nolan has completed additional training in attachment theory and practice and groupwork practice. Karen works psychodynamically using transactional analysis and offers longterm and brief psychotherapy. Karen enjoys working creatively and conducts a dream-sharing group, which meets fortnightly, online.

Karen Nolan’s background is in strategic management, organisational development and HR. She has worked at a senior level in the public, commercial and charity sectors and holds additional qualifications in human resource management and occupational health and safety.

Karen works with a wide range of people from different backgrounds, past clients have included professionals, business owners, academics and creatives. A choice of early morning, day time, evening and Saturday appointments means therapy can fit around your busy lifestyle.
