The UK government has just announced a new initiative to support EV charging at B&Bs and campsites in the country. This is good news for anyone who wants to visit the UK and stay in one of these places but also want to charge their electric car while they are there. The initiative will see over 100 locations across England receive funding from Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) and Energy Saving Trust (EST). One of the main struggles electrical vehicle owners have had in previous years is if they are travelling from a fair distance away to the national parks in the country, their vehicles might not last the journey. This government grant has given a new lease of life to B&Bs and campsites across the UK, making them accessible to electric vehicle owners.
