Home Support Services, Est. 1994, provides support at home to adults of all ages and abilities who want to remain living in their own homes. Based in the centre of Derby, we deliver services to people living in the city and surrounding suburbs and the villages of Derbyshire. Our manager is a Champion for Dignity and our staff are fully trained to industry quality standards.

We believe that quality must be 'standardised' across the industry to safeguard service users and staff alike, but care should remain 'individualised' to the person we are delivering a service to. In this way we promote individuality, diversity and the rights of all stakeholders. This is the basis of effective person centred planning.

OUR QUALITY REGULATORS, AUDITS AND COMPLIANCE
Home Support Services, an Approved Provider of Domicilliary Care in Derby City provides subcontracts Derby City Council for the provision of home care, and is also approved to supply staff to their homes. We contract with Derbyshire County Council as part of their approved list of home care service providers, and with NHS Continuing Care. The government has set up an independent body to regulate all care providers in England called the Care Quality Commission, (CQC). Home Support Services is registered, rigorously inspected and fully licensed by the CQC to provide community care services and personal care. We operate our own extensive internal audit systems in line with our business continuity plans and action plans for continuous improvement to monitor and maintain quality service provision, including maximised use of the TRS and eziTracker systems.
