This may involve giving assistance and creating a plan to establish an overall style for a particular room or the whole property; including colour schemes, furnishings, lighting and window dressings – blending with the clients existing furnishings or creating a completely new look. Whether you just need advice to help make the most of your space or are starting with a completely blank canvas, Lesley will work closely with you to help shape your home. Each project is unique and tailored entirely to the clients’ wishes.
About Us
LG Designs is a new and exciting venture for Lesley Gillam. Lesley has over 20 years experience in the world of interiors, specialising in both the design and making of bespoke hand sewn curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. Her business is located in the former Bakehouse tucked away in the heart of the village of Exning on the outskirts of the famous horse-racing town of Newmarket in Suffolk; conveniently placed for easy access from both Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds via the A14, and Ely via the A142.
The Bakehouse – more than just interiors
Customers and clients are welcomed into a cosy showroom and work studio, here you are immediately tempted by an array of beautiful home accessories displayed to inspire the imagination. The atmosphere is friendly and informal where work in progress can be seen. You can browse a comprehensive range of fabrics and wall coverings in comfort or choose from an enticing array of quality gifts including jewellery, scented candles, photograph frames, scarves, floral arrangements and much more.
