Charity Donation

Donating is an important part of the House Clearing process. It is a quick and efficient way of putting to use items that are unwanted by the family. We can also pick up/collect furniture from your address and donate it to a good cause. On average, through the Gift Aid scheme and other methods, we donate £100's each month.

Recycling and Waste

We are committed to processing our recycling and waste very carefully. High volume Rubbish Clearance should always be carried out professionally by Licensed Waste carriers, such as ourselves. In a typical 3 bedroom House Clearance Fresh Start recycles around 75% of the contents. This is also often cheaper and greener than hiring a skip. We sort through Recyclable contents during House Clearances before we leave the premises.

We recycle on a like for like system where typically wood, metal, glass, plastics, textiles, large & small electrical items are sorted into groups and recycled.

NB: Fridges, TVs and flourescent lamps are classed as hazardous waste and incur a additional cost to be disposed of responsibly. Fresh Start is licensed by the Environment Agency as a Waste Carrier and as a Waste Broker. What this means is we have a Duty of Care to dispose of waste responsibly and within the guidelines of current legislation. We utilise Bristol City Council's Recycling Facilities, ensuring our disposal methods are fully accountable.

We offer a full local House Clearance service to any properties in Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas. Our team are great value, we get over 80% of the jobs we quote for.

There is no limit to the properties we clear. Often these are houses resulting from Deceased Estates (Probate), but also include clearance of Storage Units, Attics, Offices and lots more.

We are proud of our small, hard working, family run team. We are fully insured for goods in transit and are Licensed Waste Brokers. We always take exceptional care to Recycle & Donate to Charity as much as possible (about 75% of items) from any average estate.
