Neston High School is an 11-18 rural comprehensive school of over 1700 students. We are an oversubscribed school and many of our students travel from Chester, Wales, and The Wirral to be a part of our thriving community. In this school every student and every parent really does matter. It is a truly exciting time to be joining our school and with our recent exciting news that we will be receiving an entirely new school building, and our recent accolades and successes, your son or daughter can be assured of an exciting, stimulating and challenging experience here at Neston.

About Us

Neston High is a school full of opportunity, fun and enjoyment for students and one where high achievement is the norm. High quality relationships between students, and between staff and students, are a strong feature of life at Neston. It is, indeed, a privilege to be the Head of such a fantastic school. I know that your son or daughter will quickly become fully engaged in the many experiences and opportunities we have to offer. We will regularly track his or her academic progress with half-termly reports, which look at their levels of attainment for each subject. Working along side this, we have a strong Pastoral system, based around five Houses, that will help to support, nurture and care for your child’s well being. Each House is led by a ‘Head of House’ and a ‘Pastoral Learning Mentor,’ who will look after your child well over their five years in school. At Neston, we expect the highest standards of behaviour and mutual respect and we believe that self-discipline and a creative approach to learning will help your son or daughter to fulfil their dreams and ambitions.

As a parent, your role is crucial in helping us support your child and helping them to be successful. We pride ourselves on having strong relationships with parents and with this in mind, I would encourage you to maintain a strong working partnership with us in school, and would encourage you to support the Parents and Friends of Neston Association.
Our door is always open and we really do want you to contact us whatever the concern or query. Matters dealt with early can make a world of difference to the final outcome.
