About us

Marquees by Trumps is a family run, client friendly company that takes pride in offering a quality service, based on over twenty-five years experience in the marquee hire business in Sussex. Our clear span marquees are available for any size of function, and our wide range of options and accessories allows you to create a unique and memorable style for your special day. We cannot guarantee the weather, but with our colourful choice of linings and finishing touches such as furniture, lighting and dance floors, we can guarantee a day to remember. Be it for five or five hundred, we have the solutions to make your celebration a success.

Our Marquees

Marquees and associated services are our specialism, with spans from 3m (10ft) through to 9m (30ft) wide, or we can link marquees to provide 12m, 15m or 18m wide structures.
The clear-span, aluminium frame marquees offer very flexible accommodation and can easily be erected on grass and almost any other surface.
A unique extension leg system can usually accommodate the most uneven of terrains. The marquees are adaptable for use on patios, hard standings, or adjacent to buildings, as there is no need for guy ropes and no centre poles to get in the way of the action.

Planning your Function

We have catered for functions ranging from an intimate group of six, to a massive celebration of over
500. We have erected marquees over swimming pools, in an aircraft hanger and even on a roof. We welcome a challenge and detailing is our passion, using a digital planning system to help you visualise the layout. Fluctuating numbers is no problem, because as long as we know five days before the event we can adjust the plan as necessary. Even if it rains on the day, our designs will ensure that adequate space is provided to receive your guests in a dry environment and ensure the celebration continues without interference from the elements.
Table size and spacing will depend on the service style which is planned, and finger food, buffet, or silver service can all be accommodated within our schemes. We work with many local and national caterers, so can always suggest suitable suppliers for your chosen cuisine.
