The quality of Harris Tweed is remarkable in this age of cheap machine made Far Eastern clothing with celebrity designer labels . This stuff is still hand woven by craftsmen in wool gathered from highland sheep . The ultimate guarantee of endurance and protection in severe winter weather. I have read of Harris Tweed jackets that have given over 35 years of constant wear. This coat fitted far better than anything available in store. A genuine Harris tweed coat would cost vastly more to have made up at today's prices . A genuine bargain and a pleasure to do business with .
