Plastic Packers

Fixing items to uneven surfaces can be difficult due to the gaps beneath the fixing points. Plastic packing shims are used to fill these gaps and provide a secure fixing.

Techmarkets offers a comprehensive range of Plastic Packing Shims to cover most applications where alignment and secure fixing of items is required.

Plastic shims are used typically in Dry Lining, Cladding Systems, Glazing and Door Frame Fixing.

Two versions are available, Light Duty overall size 40 x 45mm and Heavy Duty overall size 100 x 50mm.

Both versions are available in thicknesses 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 10mm all colour coded for easy identification.

Shims are supplied in bulk packs of 1000pcs or small lot/mixed packs for merchants

Fastener Protection

Techmarkets manufacture a range of accessories for protection and concealment of fasteners.

The "Match Cap" is a one piece cap and washer assembly for colour matched concealment of woodscrew fixings where a high quality uniform colour finish is required.

The screw is inserted through the washer prior to installation and the cap is a tight snap fit to conceal the screw.

"Match Caps" are available EX STOCK in a range of 30 standard colours.

Typical applications are securing cladding panels, furniture panels and interior fittings.

For the roofing and cladding industry, there is a range of push fit cover caps to fit standard hexagon screws used for securing steel panels.

These caps are available in all British Standard and RAL colour matches.
