Services
People talk to counsellors for all sorts of reasons. At In Touch Counselling we can help you solve personal problems and difficult situations, and identify and develop your own personal strategies to lead a more fulfilled and active life.
Our counsellors are trained to listen to you and give you the time you need to speak about things that might be hard to talk about. Our service is totally confidential (within our ethical boundaries), non-judgemental and aims at positive therapy, and you can choose to talk to a female or male counsellor.
Secular Counselling
Working within a framework of equal opportunities which celebrates our differences. Sussex embodies all the diversity of a multi-cultural multi-racial society and we have a responsibility to work ethically, sensitively, appropriately, and "without discrimination on the grounds of class, culture, gender, marital status, physical ability, ethnic background, age, religion or sexual orientation"
‘In Touch’ counsellors have regular supervision from qualified supervisors and continue with on-going training.
‘In Touch’ counselling service is fully insured, and we are able to offer both male and female counsellors.
Christian Counselling
Our counsellors are committed to working within a framework of equal opportunities which celebrates our differences. Sussex embodies all the diversity of a multi-cultural multi-racial society and we have a responsibility to work ethically, sensitively, appropriately, and "without discrimination on the grounds of class, culture, gender, marital status, physical ability, ethnic background, age, religion or sexual orientation"
“As we seek to understand the Bible with our minds and to see more clearly our privileged position as believers, the Spirit helps us grow. Because the work of Christ is actual, because He died and rose again in history, this is not just positive thinking or a psychological technique. It is reality” (Christianity with a Human Face - Macaulay and Barrs).
