The heading equipment and rolling mills used at STL may seem to be very different in technology but often share the same input materials. These products sometimes compete technically with each other as options for a customer to choose from.

The tool-making business provides press tools for the stamping divisions of the business and outside clients, along with tiny complex shaped carbide dies for the heading machines, and even special tooling for the rolling machines.
