100% of donations go directly to our programmes for children as our trustees and patrons ensure that central administrative costs are met.

ARK has a team of Trustees whose combined skills offer a wealth of experience and contacts to support ARK in its activities. The Trustees meet regularly and contribute directly to the operations. They also demonstrate their commitment by ensuring, along with the Patrons, that all administrative costs are covered, so that 100% of all donations go directly to deliver ARK's programmes for children.

About Us

Academies are non-selective, state-funded schools for local children. They were initially established by sponsors and ARK Schools was an early sponsor, taking over under performing schools to raise performance and achievement and establishing new schools where there was a shortage of school places. Academies are independently run but free and open to all local children. The DfE funds the schools on a comparable basis to other state schools in the area.

ARK Schools academies are mixed and non-selective, offering local children a first class education and the chance to achieve the academic qualifications and skills that will enable them to go on to higher education.

As well as providing the best opportunities for their pupils, ARK academies play an important part in the regeneration of communities. The academies are a significant focus for learning for students, their families and the local community.
