About Us

Welcome to Wetlab. The home of hands on medical skills and knowledge gained from activity. Wetlab is dedicated to hands on surgical training development and assessment working closely with industry and the National health service hospitals in Britain and Ireland together with the SCTS university. We also provide our award winning Wetlab direct service which brings the entire Wetlab experience to your hospital we bring everything needed for the event. This service is free of charge to the delegates and hospital. Based in Kenilworth Warwickshire England. Wetlab has now developed and expanded to become fully international providing products and services worldwide however most of our training events are held in the UK and Europe.

Workshops

Wetlab are able to facilitate both large and small bore chest drain training courses. Wetlab in conjunction with various suture manufactures are able to provide hands on experience and training for various procedures using differing sutures. Following many years of providing valued hands on training for cardiac surgery direct to hospitals, Wetlab can now offer this very special service to cardiology.

Wetlab is dedicated to providing hands on medical training development and assessment, working closely with industry and the NHS. Courses can be held in the National Wetlab Centre in Gloucester or we offer bespoke training facilities brought straight to your hospital or chosen venue.

What You Will Gain From Us

A better anatomical understanding of the heart and a greater perception of the link between actions in the clinical environment and physical effect on the heart. A chance to practice with equipment and tools in a more composed low pressure setting, a great opportunity to truly develop a delegate’s skills and knowledge. Delegates can interact with the tutor and discuss past experiences, they can ask questions and can receive immediate feedback during the Wetlab. The ability to experiment and learn from mistakes in a patient free scenario with a fantastic team building opportunity and builds your training portfolio.

What Subjects Can We Facilitate?

General cardiac anatomy, pacing lead implantation, transseptal pacing, atrial fibrillation and ablation. By working alongside industry we are generally able to provide these services totally free of charge to your hospital.
