“First time at the hotel will be going back next year”

Excellent from the time we got there, they were very Friendly, made a fuss with my little girl which goes along way with me Food was lovely not greasy, and the room was lovely and clean Will be coming back next year for a short break

“Lovely family friendly hotel and good value for money”

We recently stayed at the colywyn on a visit to blackpool to see the illuminations. The rooms were all clean and tidy and it is in a perfect location for visiting the pleasure beach the kids loved it. There was a great selection at breakfast something for everyone. The staff were all very friendly and went out of there way in returning our baby sons shoe which we left in the room after checking out by locating are car on the promenade and leaving a note. Will definitely be going back next year.

“Great value for the money”

We have just returned from a Monday to Friday break at the Colwyn for the last week of the "lights".The hotel was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful, they could not do enough for us.The breakfast was very good and plentiful which is always good. The room was basic but very clean. The only problem being that it was on the small size, but that wasn't too much of a problem. The location was good,it was just past the Pleasure Beach, with a tram and bus stop just across the road.Would defineately recommend and would go back again.

“Weekend in Blackpool”

Travelled up to Blackpool on Friday 15th returning Sunday 17th Nov. Staying at Colwyn Hotel South Shore. The hotel is approx 200M below Pleasure Beach. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, remember to bring shower gel etc. Will stay there again. Tram and bus stops are just across the road, making it hand to get to the centre of Blackpool if you don't wish to walk, all day travelling ticket is £4.30 (£3.50 in advance) enabling travel to Fleetwood Ferry on the tram.

“Excellent Place to Stay”

A lovely place to stay. Everyone was lovely and extremely helpful. We had a family room where the girls bedroom was within our room but made separate by a tiny corridor the kids loved it and thought their bit of the room was fab as they got a TV too!! Room not fancy but nice and clean just what you want. You could eat in at the restaurant our order a takeaway and eat in the bar which was fab as we never knew what time we would be back. Close to Pleasure Beach and Tram stop right opposite hotel. Would recommend and will return.

“still very good value”

Was so pleased with the visit I paid last year with my Son and Grandson that we stayed again this year. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. The welcome was delightful.. Breakfast is first class.. The rooms are clean and the bathroom towels perfect. The en suite is a bit small but quite adequate and the beds really comfortable. It is well placed to the tram stop and the pleasure beach. I stayed again because the visit last year was a pleasure. I was not disappointed, it is still a pleasure and will be my first choice for a weekend in Blackpool every time.

“A jewel”

This hotel is a jewel. The staff are very welcoming, the food excellent, and parking is available. Situated right by the tram stop that takes you into the centre of Blackpool. I would definitely stay again.

“A good stay”

Visited for a week with my father for the lights, and selected the Colwyn,

Location is good, on new south prom, next to the pleasure beach, and just minutes from pleasure beach station, and across the road from Burlington Road West tram stop

Rooms were good, however beds were a wee bit creaky, food was good standard and the owners very pleasant, the hotel has access for disabled/mobility impared residents, which was great for my dad.
