King Edward's is a unique community that provides an enriched academic education for able children. We are committed to the highest academic standards but are equally committed to developing the whole child through our extensive enrichment programmes. Both of these pledges have been independently validated by Ofsted who have rated King Edward's as Outstanding, ranking us at this level in 29 out of 31 categories, and placing us into a national elite of A* schools alongside the other high achieving Wolds Grammar Schools. Our results this summer placed us amongst the top 200 State Schools in the Country and the Sutton Trust Report into Higher Education success placed us in the top 200 nationally compared to all State Schools, Independent Day and Boarding Schools, and Sixth Form Colleges.
