Black Cat Video has over 32 years experience in providing production and post production services including filming major events, training and promotional videos. Our clients include many television channels, government departments, multi-national companies and many members of the Royal Family. About Us

Black Cat Video was established in 1981 and we pride ourselves on personal service and never forgetting that every client and every job is equally important. We are committed to maintaining the highest quality in all the work we undertake and we are constantly reviewing and updating our equipment to ensure we achieve this.

Domestic Services

We can work with nearly all domestic formats Domestic such as cine film duplication, photos and slides, recording studio, audio transfer, weddings, parties etc and data recovery.

Theatre and Dance Schools

Black Cat Video can film your shows in HD, and produce DVDs for you to sell to parents, grandparents etc. etc. All DVDs are supplied in a Library Case which can have an insert, based on your programme, showing details of the production and your cast list.

The really good bit is there will be absolutely no charge for the filming or editing, we will only charge you for the number of units you order, so as long as you sell the DVDs for more than we charge you, you are guaranteed to make a profit. We have a sliding scale of charges, which means the more you order the lower your unit cost could be, for example if you sell 100 units @ £15 each you would make £300 profit!

School Productions

Training Videos

We can provide all the services required to produce high quality training videos and audio/visual operating instructions all within reasonable budgets. We can work through entire processes from first discussions with one of our creative directors, then producing storyboards and shooting scripts. Once these stages are agreed then we can film in HD, edit the footage, add voice over and background music (which can be bespoke tracks produced by our in house composers). Finally we can produce the master and provide bulk duplication or replication options. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Product Launches

We can provide all the services for your product launch, we have worked on many aspects of this genre from filming and editing focus groups, through test launches to full release of products. We have also worked on major presentation launches such as the BMW Mini, other clients include Tesco, Nat West Bank, T mobile, Brook St, Airbus, Ocean Spray and The Disney Corporation. We have production, post production, hire and presentation departments who can make your launch the best it can possibly be.

Events and Functions

We have worked with many blue chip companies, government departments and members of the Royal Family to produce the very best in corporate events.

We have an in house team of camera operators, A/V technicians and post-production experts who will provide the highest quality event on budget and on time.

We can produce the live event and film from get in to get out to produce a DVD for the archive. For some events we can even edit “live” and produce copies to be given to all attendees on the egress.

We have in house creative teams but we often work with independent directors so we have the experience of understanding other creative people’s approach to projects.

We can film and edit “away days” and show the events of the day during the evening meal and provide copies to go in the goody bags.

We can provide people to work directly with clients from the first thought or idea to completion of the project.

Post Production

We have HD edit suites with operators who can take your raw footage and produce the highest quality product. We have audio facilities linking the 24 track studio to our broadcast edit suite, this enables to offer voice over, music underscores and ADR options.

Once the edit and mastering is completed we can provide bulk duplication and glass master replication of the DVDs and we can offer on line options for the final product. We have in house print lay out for case inserts and sleeves as well as disc on body printing.
