Called into this shop in Sunday 15th March to buy some Paracetamol. The shopkeeper tried to charge me £4.50 for a box of 16 generic branded tablets that would normally cost 50p in a supermarket. He claimed suppliers were increasing their prices, which is absolutely untrue. Whilst I understand small businesses do charge more than larger shops, I thought a £4 mark up was disgraceful in the current situation where people are being told by their doctors to use Paracetamol to reduce fever from Coronavirus. Needless to say, I didn't purchase them. I returned home and went to my local corner shop who supplied me with a similar box for £1.
