The Cottages

Set in the peaceful rural Holcombe Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Dorchester, Weymouth and Dorset's unique World Heritage Jurassic Coast.

Four character self catering holiday cottages converted from stone barns. Sleeping from two to seven (plus cot) people - they have 18 inch thick stone walls, exposed beams, woodburning stoves and are fully equiped with all that you will need including modern HD LCD televisions.

Relax and Unwind

Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sit and listen skylarks singing, watch buzzards soaring. Around the cottages there are hares, deer, rabbits, badgers (there is an actice badger sett about 250m from the cottages) and huge selection of wild birds. The cottages are located directly on a bridleway so there is no need to go near a road. You can walk or cycle for miles without going near a road.

Explore the Jurassic Coast

We are ideally situated for visiting Dorset's fabulous coastline. Fantastic beaches at Studland and Weymouth. Stunning geology and cliffs at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. You can walk the Coastal Path, paddle along the coast in a kayak or take a boat ride to see England's only World Heritage Site.
