About Us

Simply put, we attain results by teaching pupils to pass their test. However, this is done at an above average level. At KeyStart Driving School, we believe being taught simply how to pass is not sufficient enough to drive safely in today's conditions. Therefore, the standard is one that will allow you to be able to cope with all situations you encounter, and as such, give you a much more rounded set of driving skills and abilities to help you in future driving situations.

KeyStart also endeavours to find methods to improve the standards of our pupils, as well as the benefits they receive from being taught by us. This and all the other avenues of assistance mean that our pupils, more often than not, go on to pass their test the first time.

Furthermore, we continually look at what is best for our target audience as a means to improving the overall experience of learning to drive, as well as, keeping prices that are realistic and affordable. For example, new starters (paying for 10 or more Block booked lessons) get a starter pack consisting of: accessibility to an App of all elements of learning to drive, hazard perception assistance, and an array of other useful URL links inc the Highway Code. All of these theory resources, as well as email support, if required, improve the practical elements of driving too.

Learning or Improving Your Driving

At KeyStart Driving School in Lancaster, Lancashire, our driving instructor helps students to complete various driving courses, as well as provide driving lessons for learners, & those needing to gain a UK licence having come from abroad. We deal with pupils of all skill levels, from those driving for the first time to experienced drivers who have failed a test. Our instructors have built up a rapport with local university students and have helped many of them to pass their test over the last decade. All of the lessons we provide are tailored to suit the needs of the individual and help make them safe and confident drivers:
