Welcome To Kalinka Dance Studio

Kalinka Dance Studio provides the perfect introduction to the world of dance, supporting development and encouraging students to achieve at the highest level.

About Us

Since our founding in 2004 we have been providing dance classes for children of all ages for the last 10 years in west London. Starting her career as a ballerina in Russia, the main choreographer and dance teacher Irina Mironova has experience of teaching for the last 28 years. We provide an opportunity to perform at the bi-annual Dance Show for all groups at the Paul Robeson Theatre where parents can enjoy our students progress. In addition Ballet Grades are also completed by all students.

When attending the first class we recommend wearing clothing which allows for flexible movement such as a t-shirt and shorts or leggings. Dance clothing and shoes can be purchased from the school at modest pricing.

What We Teach

All our classes have a grounding in ballet that then advances into other styles. Ballet grades are also completed by all students. In our classes we teach the following dance genres. Classical Ballet. Contemporary Ballet. Modern. National. Character. Gymnastic Dance. Jazz. We encourage our students to socialise and teach dance in an inclusive, imaginative and challenging way. Dance classes have the ability to improve a child's flexibility, posture, balance, coordination and confidence, as well as developing social interaction and friendships.
