Alan, demonstrated his plumbing skills by inspecting my shower and then decalring I need to jackhammer the whole shower to fix this simple issue. He was parked at my house for approx 10 mins and spent a couple of minutes looking at the job. I was told this will cost me £150. After this expert left, I decided I have nothing to loose so I removed the remains of the shower Waste upper and the hair catcher below it. The shower trap below was all in tact and I can purchase the above parts for approx £15. NO NEED TO JACKHAMMER MY SHOWER... Thank you for your expertise and your extortionate charge!!!!
