Enlightenment by Design is the home of serious lighting. Our portfolio of products is based on our experience of retailing lighting to the domestic market.

It is an exciting portfolio containing the best in contemporary lighting design from Italy as well as modern lighting for those looking for something a little less avant-garde but also traditional lighting which may be either exceptional reproduction lights, classic chandeliers or simple, elegant light fittings suitable for houses as modest as they come or mansions.

Enlightenment by Design buys directly from the best lighting manufacturers in Europe and the UK to provide you with high-quality lighting products which we believe represent excellent value for money.

We source most of our products directly from the manufacturers either in the UK, Italy, Germany or France. We offer little from the Far East but, where we do, we believe the quality to be good and the product, in our experience, reliable. These products will have been purchased from a reputable lighting wholesaler in the UK who will be a member of the Lighting Association.

Enlightenment by Design - Lighting Retailers

Enlightenment by Design is a family-run and owned limited company and lighting shop based in Old Amersham in the lovely Chiltern Hills. We have been retailing and importing lighting for over seven years and have built up a wide network of the best lighting suppliers.

We understand and support the products we sell in terms of performance and limitations. We can supply spare parts, glass and accessories. We can also answer technical queries should they arise during installation (office hours only).
