Welcome to The Base Bed & Breakfast in Bristol.

OK, strictly speaking, we're not a bed and breakfast! We are a self catering guesthouse and hence we don't offer breakfast! But we do have excellent self catering facilities and a good range of clean, contemporary and functional rooms, most with ensuite bathrooms.

We also offer a very convenient and simple self entry system which means late arrivals are not a problem, and you can come and go as you please.

Location

Just 10 minutes' drive from Bristol city centre, our bed and breakfast is based in the Fishponds area which is a vibrant, up and coming urban location with a wide choice of shops, cafes, takeaways and supermarkets all within walking distance.

The Base Bed & Breakfast is also convenient for both of UWE's Frenchay and Glenside campuses, and also for Easton, Stapleton, Frenchay, Downend, Staple Hill and Emersons Green, as well as Southmead Hospital and The Priory Hospital in Stapleton.

The Base Bed & Breakfast (self catering, remember!) is on direct bus routes to Bristol City Centre and also for the UWE buses which go to all campuses of the University of the West of England (UWE). We'll be glad to help you navigate your way around Bristol City. Just ask, we're only on the end of the phone!

For 10 years now we have been offering Bristol's widest range of guesthouse and bed and breakfast accommodation which is arranged over a large 'Victorian Villa' and a modern 'Urban Villa'. All rooms have been refurbished and maintained to a clean and comfortable standard.

With a mix of traditional ensuite B&B style rooms, family rooms and a spacious self contained apartment, we also offer excellent, fully equipped, communal self catering facilities.

Independent

The Base Bed and Breakfast is a proudly independent business (it's a Bristol thing) and our rooms are not available on any other corporate booking channels because they take money out of the UK economy, not to mention the hardworking small businesses who are striving to provide the bed and breakfast accommodation in Bristol which you desire!
