The Olivelli name has its roots in the distinctive Sicilian food culture.
Rita and Enrico Olivelli opened their Bloomsbury restaurant in the '30s - a home-from-home for students at nearby drama school RADA as well as famous London theatre actors of the day. Legendary performers such as Mae West and Bob Hope also dropped by whenever they were in town.

About Us

Sicilian-born brothers Giovanni and Salvatore Salamone bought the restaurant in 1993 - the first of their select chain across the capital which includes Mayfair and Waterloo venues and two cafés, Caffè Paradiso, in Bloomsbury and Tower Bridge.

Private Dining Available

Olivelli and Caffè Paradiso offer a great environment for private parties and events. Whatever your needs, we have everything from our private dining area and caffè space to our entire restaurant. We can provide dinner, drinks and a delicious range of authentic Sicilian desserts.

Sicilian Delicacies

We sell a range of delicatessen products in our caffès in Bloomsbury and Shad Thames, all of which are made by artisan producers in Sicily.

It includes sauces, extra-virgin cold-pressed olive oil, olives, bruschetta toppings, oregano, sun-dried tomatoes, jam, honey and conserves. Our pesto range features the classic Wild Sicilian Fennel Pesto – once tried, never forgotten!

At all our Restaurants we offer a variety of daily specials which change every other day.
