YUAN Clinic and Traditional Medicine College.

The Yuan Clinic was founded in 2000 by John Tindall, the internationally renowned acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner. The clinic is an evolution of the Gateway Clinic, a unique Chinese Medicine unit with the UK National Health Service which John founded and formerly directed.

John Tindall specialises in the treatment of Hepatitis C. Other commonly treated conditions include HIV, cancer, addiction, mental health problems, chronic fatigue, PMS/menstrual problems and post-natal conditions and general health problems. Treatments normally consist of an individually tailored programme of full body acupuncture and prescribed herbal medicine. Ear acupuncture is also available at specific times

The holistic approach promoted at the Yuan Clinic also aims to empower clients and raise their ability to deal with their own health problems. Many clients adopt lifestyle changes and take up various healing practices through the encouragement they receive at the clinic.
