What areas do Five Lamps cover?
We are based at Thornaby in Teesside and have offices across the North East. Our Youth, Enterprise and Employability services are mostly delivered in Teesside.

About Us

Five Lamps aims to ‘transform lives, raise aspirations, remove barriers and offer choice to families, business and communities’.
We are a charity that supports the community by re-investing any profit back into the business. We are also known as a social enterprise, registered charity and community development finance institution.

We have four integrated areas of business:

Youth Services
In response to a need identified by the local community, Five Lamps’ established its own youth service. Our purpose built youth facility ‘The Youthy’ was opened in 2002 and we provide a range of services and activities for young people aged 7 to 18 years.

Financial Inclusion
If you are worried about money or are having problems with doorstep lenders, we can help. We have a dedicated Financial Inclusion Team who may be able to offer you an affordable personal loan with payments that suit your finances.
