Quality overall was poor. Many items were damaged, they may have arrived damaged and some may have been caused by Jake before or during installation. We were placed in between Howdens and the fitter leaving customer redress in limbo and without adequate support. I should have taken note of the two customers I heard in their showroom on two separate occasions complaining about how bad things were. I also profoundly regret using Jake Cornforth Carpentry Services; he said he would replace damaged items but didn't, he installed damaged items without giving us or Howdens the opportunity to replace them, he took almost three months on our refit, he kept us waiting whilst he went off to do other jobs, he wouldn't put right his poor quality work, he lacked customer appreciation and care and failed to take any personal responsibility, he presented well initially and maintained that for some time but then turned on my wife showing anger and hostility. We had the worst experience imaginable.
