The 3 star Falmouth Hotel (known as 'The Falmouth') can proudly lay claim to the crown of Grand Dame, having been the first commercial hotel to be built in the town, back in 1865. This charming, Victorian chateau-style hotel is set in 5 acres of landscaped gardens and it enjoys a prime sea front location. On one side is Pendennis Castle, the headland, beach and sea and on the other, views over to the famous port of Falmouth. From the hotel, it is an easy stroll into the town centre and the maritime area.

The Falmouth has an excellent reputation for its food and it is a popular venue for fine dining, Sunday lunch and local residents dining out. It has also won an award for its Cornish Cream Teas.

Bedrooms

The Falmouth Hotel has 71 bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and provided with a hospitality tray, remote control colour TV with cable channels, hairdryer, radio/alarm clock and complimentary toiletries as standard. There are 4 categories of bedroom: Standard, Select, Premier and Premier Plus. The hotel also has a Suite. Most Select, Premier and Premier Plus rooms offer sea views and, in the Premier Plus category, The Falmouth boasts some of the largest bedrooms available in the resort – thanks to its Victorian architectural roots.
