About Us

My name is David Franklin and I am an Artist Blacksmith based in Worcestershire. I have over
7 years of experience in creating hand crafted wrought ironwork for the home and garden.
In addition to my Blacksmith work, I am a builder and handyman who fits kitchens, bathrooms,
en-suites and building extensions to a variety of properties.

David Franklin owns and runs a successful Artist Blacksmith's and Land Rover (all models) second hand parts business at Burcot Forge, Bromsgrove, in Worcestershire. David Franklin Artist Blacksmith is located 10 minutes from Junction 4 of the M5 and 5 minutes from Junction 1 of the M42. David's flair as an Artist Blacksmith is second to none. For every commission he takes a hands-on approach. Each metalwork piece is made to the customer's exact specification. The works he creates is very personalised and will visually enhance any location. David's knowledge of Land Rover products is extensive, bringing a unique feature to a highly successful Worcestershire Blacksmith's business.

Specialist Services

Burcot Forge was built in 1904 as a general blacksmiths shop. James Floyd and his two sons, Frank and Hubert, owned the Forge until 1955. Most of the trade was provided by horse shoeing, but they also turned out intricate pieces of iron work by hand on an anvil. This came from years of practical experience coupled with artistic design knowledge. Customers used to bring drawings, designs and wrought iron work examples for matching, alteration or to be copied.
