For many years breweries have used dissolved gas analysers to help control the level of oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen in their beer.

The problem is how can the user be sure that the values being measured are correct?
If a bad value is seen then stopping the production line is expensive yet packaging out-of-spec beer can be even more costly.
The analysers can drift because of mechanical or electrical failure, or may simply become coated with a film of wild yeast, but to check this in the traditional way and correct any problem is slow and time consuming.

Most brewers choose to service and calibrate their analysers after a chosen amount of time in use but clearly this cannot be the best way - either at the chosen service time the analyser is still working correctly so servicing is a waste of time, or else the analyser is already failing which means the values it has been giving when measuring the beer have been wrong.

Simply connect your dissolved gas analyser to the calibrator and instantly see
if it measures the correct level of dissolved gas as shown on the calibrator display.

Used to check analysers which measure :

Oxygen (ppm or ppb levels)

Carbon Dioxide (g/l or V/V)

Nitrogen (ppm or ml/l)

Service - Since 1999 we have visited breweries to service, certify and repair calibrators

We believe that good customer service, provided at the point of use, is extremely important and we never request that a faulty system be returned to our factory.

We always service and repair systems on-site

Our standard service contract provides:

An engineer to visit the customer twice per year to service and certify the system.

Unlimited visits to repair systems on-site (travel, parts and labour are all included in the yearly service charge)

Because of this the true cost of ownership is known to the customer as any system will have no other hidden charges during its lifetime

Certification involves setting and testing the system against UKAS traceable standard pressure and temperature gauges plus tests to measure the gas transfer efficiency of the membranes.

Following the visit a certificate is issued confirming the accuracy of each system
