Planters Garden Centre is a family owned & run Garden Centre and has been trading since around 1990. We started as a fairly small centre and almost every year since the Centre has grown, we have a Licenced Restaurant that was rebuilt in April 2015 seating around 320 people, the restaurant includes a vast outdoor seating area and fantastic play area which was fitted in May 2015, we stock most items that you can think of from Clothes lines to Dining room suites as well as all the Plants you could ever wish for.

We started as a fairly small centre and almost every year since the Centre has grown, we have a Licenced Restaurant that was rebuilt in April 2015 seating around 320 people, the restaurant includes a vast outdoor seating area and fantastic play area which was fitted in May 2015, we stock most items that you can think of from Clothes lines to Dining room suites as well as all the Plants you could ever wish for.
We extended our Pet department in January 2008 and our Aquatic Concession (Ripples Waterlife) in Spring 2009, in June 2012 we introduced a Sky Trail Adventure to our Garden Centre, in March 2016 we started a dog grooming centre within our pet department called pooch Parlour.
Our staff are very important to us here at Planters and most of the team have been here for a good number of years, as we are regularly expanding we are creating new vacancies all the time so if you are interested in joining our team have a look at the Vacancies page on our website.

Had a great family day out! fantastic Christmas display and plenty for the kids to do. The food in the restaurant is awesome and I love there is a dog friendly part there too. I also just wanted to say how wonderful Maria in the restaurant is. I found a tiny bit of mould on my burger bun and she couldn't have been more helpful. She was so lovely and apologetic and gave me a couple of cakes as compensation (which have been very well received!). Working in customer service myself I wanted to recognise the way that she dealt with my complaint was wonderful and I believe she is an asset to your company.

Lovely place, come here quite a lot. Always enjoy a relaxing drink or meal. Love that they have a lounge where you can have a coffee with your pooch. Well worth the drive out.
